First, let me say that the service advisor at Tire Streets Garage, Angel G., communication was truly exceptional. His dedication and pride in representing Tire Streets Garage were evident. What I encountered with my 2008 Honda Accord was an issue with a fluid leak from the engine, and then my car would not start. I was referred to Tire Streets Garage - On 3/25/2024 - # 7968. When I arrived, they convinced me to pay for an auto diagnostic services, which was understandable. The technician at the garage diligently identified all potential issues with my car, recommending several necessary repairs and services. However, that’s when the unjustness began. I felt that the labor charges, which were applied separately for each service, were excessive. For instance, separate labor charges were added for each of the recommended repairs, such as the oil pressure sensor, valve cover gaskets, engine variable timing solenoid gaskets, an oil change, etc. I believe that these labor charges should have been consolidated for a fair pricing given that they were all related to the front engine. Additionally, a separate labor charge was applied for the installation of four new tires, as well as front and rear disc brake pads and brake rotors. Again, I believe that these labor charges should have been consolidated for a fair pricing given that they were all related to the tires. Separating labor charges for each service felt unjust, especially considering that some labor costs exceeded the price of the parts. While this may be a common practice in the auto shop industry, Tire Streets Garage should strive for a fairer labor pricing. The saving grace in this situation was the 24-month or 24,000-mile warranty on parts. However, the disclosure without labor costs included, again this felt unjust (meaning they are going to charge me labor when I bring my car back). In addition, as important as they treated their customers, I was never offered any amenities, including a lounge with fresh coffee, snacks, free Wi-Fi, and a shuttle service via Lyft if I needed a ride. I left Tire Streets Garage feeling bad about myself and not valued. That's my opinion for giving Tire Streets Garage a 3-star rating.
